About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support our Risk team in implementing changes to the Trading Controls Framework following an internal gap assessment.

The role involves analyzing end-to-end front office trade flows, particularly remote booking flows, while collaborating with Risk and Front Office teams to enhance the trading control framework.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and map front office trade flows, identifying inefficiencies, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Support Project Managers, Risk, and Front Office in implementing recommendations and producing key documentation.
• Enhance the management framework and review control standards in collaboration with Non-Financial Risk (NFR).
• Develop and maintain the trading control inventory.
• Provide insights and data-driven analysis on trading inventory to improve transparency and risk mitigation.
• Create dashboards, reports, and models to support business objectives and regulatory compliance.
• Work closely with stakeholders to drive operational improvements and ensure compliance.
• Prepare presentations to support decision-making and project communication.

Requirements

• Experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in investment banking or financial services.
• Strong understanding of front office trade flows, remote booking processes, and UK trading control requirements.
• Experience working with Front Office and senior stakeholders.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Risk, Audit, Compliance, Front Office).
• Strong skills in creating and delivering clear, insightful presentations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
