About the profile

We are looking for a Product Owner with solid experience in financial services, preferably in account-to-account payments. This role will be focused on managing the product backlog, aligning priorities with business and customer value, and delivering high-impact digital payment solutions within an agile environment.

Functions:

• Manage and maintain a well-structured product backlog.

• Write and refine user stories based on business requirements.

• Prioritize backlog items aligned with customer needs, business value, and technical feasibility.

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and UX/UI designers.

• Attend and contribute to Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

• Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders to understand needs, gather feedback, and manage expectations.

• Document designs and product decisions using tools like Confluence.

• Track and measure product performance, and identify areas for improvement.

• Support integration with ISO 20022 standards and other payments systems.

Requirements:

• +7 years of experience in product ownership or product management roles.

• Strong knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Previous experience in financial services, preferably in payments.

• Experience managing stakeholder relationships and translating needs into deliverable stories.

• Familiarity with product management tools and customer feedback analysis.

• Technical understanding of software development lifecycle and product delivery processes.

• Experience with user research, data analysis, and reporting.

Location: Milton Keynes – HYBRID (3 days in the office, 2 remote)
